In the news today is the latest atrocity coming out of the Obama White House in it’s continued desire to weaken the U.S.’s defense system and appearance as anything but strong. Now we have this as reported thru the eyes of Michelle Malkin:
Also discussed “very seriously” in length here, with some wonderful photos to accompany it:

Yes it’s all so funny, because this has all just become a big joke now!
I mean it is a joke right? They aren’t seriously considering reading terrorists their Miranda Rights? What the hell is going on and where the hell is this country going? I know it’s been almost 9 years since September 11th, but I don’t know about the rest of you, that day is still firmly imprinted in my mind. I don’t even recognize who we are as a country anymore.
Just for fun today and for all those who grew up in the ’90s and used to watch Saturday Morning cartoons and Saved By The Bell…
This bit is sooo funny.
I say YES to a reunion:
OK Chicago Tribune … really??! This was posted on chicagotribune.com tonight with a series of fist bump photos to follow….(sigh). There are no words:
The bump heard ’round the world
It’s been a year since then-candidate gave wife Michelle a hug, kiss and a playful jab on the band before taking the stage in St. Paul, Minnesota. Fans of the fist bump have informally declared June 3 “National Fist Bump Day and have invented a website to support it — nationalfistbumpday.com.

Who are these people that have created this website and the unofficial holiday?!… come on! Everyone sing along… “Give us the whole razzle dazzle….razzle dazzle them…”
I’m including in this post a copy of an article by a 17 yr-old kid named Nate Otey, he’s just out of High School and on his way to Harvard, and from the looks of this article I’m predicting he’ll be on to big things. He wrote this extremely insightful and dead on commentary about Obama, the youth of today and how his campaign used/and still uses pop culture to attract voters and kids of voters. It was one of the brilliant aspects of the Obama campaign, I give them credit on one account and one only, they knew how to market themselves and use the technology of today to their advantage.
This commentary below ties into what many of us conservatives have been saying for awhile, the democrats and liberals having been playing up the “trendy” “cool” “for the little guy” and “just like you” cards for a long time, and with this administration it’s just become blatant and overwhelming. It’s cool to be a liberal, it’s lame to be a republican, lame and oh yeah just plain crazy too. That’s how the media portrays it and that’s one of the reasons why Hollywood LOVES this new president, he’s cool, “eloquent” and apparently just like you; well, he’s like somebody (aka Hollywood), but it isn’t the average “you.” And we know how susceptible the youth (and others) of today are influenced by Hollywood and trends, so it just spells trouble on so many levels.
I only wish I was this insightful at 17, this kid’s got his eyes wide open and he’s not playing into the game. It’s brilliant.

I am 17 years old, have a high school diploma, and live each day in genuine fear of Barack Obama.
My neck first prickled in April of 2008. Seemingly overnight, my fellow high school students, many of whom had recently turned 18, began coming to school with bumper stickers declaring “YES WE CAN,” shirts advertising “Change we can believe in,” and a plethora of pins, stickers, and hats bearing the single word “HOPE” with a horizon-esque mutation of the American flag.
Setting aside my natural instinct to ignore the sheer absurdity of modern teenage “fashion” (stained and ripped jeans at $100/pair? I rest my case), I quizzed my classmates about this new influx of clothes and possessions. Why was Obama’s face on everything they owned? Most common responses included “He’s way better than Bush,” “Because it’s time for a change,” and most alarming, “It’s important to be involved in politics.”
What really made my knees weaken were the questions that my classmates seemed unable to answer: Who exactly constituted this mysterious “we” and what “can” we henceforth do? What explicit changes was Mr. Obama going to bring for us, the students, if we decided to “believe” in him? How exactly does one become the official candidate of hope? So did the other guys represent despair? (They did know Bush wasn’t up for re-election, right?)
Which part of “Obama for America” proved him a better candidate than his competitors? Since when did a drastic wardrobe change qualify as getting involved? And most of all, what really made my peers think that Obama cared enough about them to act on their behalf; where was the evidence in his political record?
Don’t get me wrong. I’m not a Republican and I don’t want to discuss Obama’s ideologies. But the results of Election Night confirmed my worst fear, born of the same anxiety that my classmates’ impassioned sighs and vacant expressions had first inspired: Barack Obama was a tactical genius. He had convinced tens of millions of youths — mostly minors — that he was good for them, and most of them didn’t even know why. His tools? The charisma and rhetorical flourish of a motivational guru, reinforced brand development through media, and above all, the nation’s youngest and most impressionable voters in his back pocket.
A quick glance at barackobama.com gave me chills: Under the Orwellian heading “Obama Everywhere,” one found links to at least 10 different social networking sites, each of them drenched in the same propaganda, from banner ads to blogs, social events to fan groups. I can sign up for text or e-mail updates, join “Generation Obama” (one step — if that — from “The Obama Youth”), and even create a “myBarackObama” account.
I broke into cold sweat at the “Kids for Obama” section, targeted at children ages 12 and under, who (last I checked) won’t even be able to vote for Obama in 2012. Leading into November, these tykes were urged to implement “T-shirt Thursday,” host a “Senator Barack Obama House Party,” and (not kidding) “Take an adult to the polls and encourage them to vote for you, by voting for Senator Obama.”
Anyone who can spell “marketing” knows these are by far the most manipulable and valuable consumers due to their tremendous influence with parents, and major corporations routinely bombard them with enough images to make customers for life. The great irony is that peer-pressured and (worse) child-requested encouragement to “get out the vote” (read: for Obama) masquerades as the best way to make your administration and your candidate hear your voice. The reality is that it’s the perfect way for you to hear theirs.
In short, this man commandeered every meaningful media and technology outlet, made himself into a brand, a product, and a symbol all at once. If you’re too young to drink, Obama’s a messiah wrapped in an American flag.
Disbelief has never been so lonely.

I had the pleasure of observing the most adorable little 3 yr old girl on the train with her Grandmother today.
I was lost in my own thought, drowning out the train world with my iPod when this little ball of excitement sat in front of me. It wasn’t long before I realized this was her first train ride (at least of this kind) ever and she was loving every minute of it. She was perched on her chair, brown, pony tailed hair swinging, as she clapped, squealed, pointed, laughed and smiled like it was the greatest thing in the world. She was pointing out every detail and those she didn’t notice her Grandma made sure she did.
I couldn’t help smiling back as she turned over to me and said, “ooh another bump!” as the train wobbled like it usually does. I found myself thinking how odd, this little moment is something of amazement to a child, yet I look at it as something to endure on a daily basis. The simplicity of youth.
Needless to say she instantly brightened my mood, once she realized she got my attention she kept turning back to say things, “We’re going all the way to the end,” she squealed. “And Mommy can’t see us.” I laughed out loud at that and the Grandmother laughed to. She ended up asking me a couple questions about where the train was headed and I obliged. Obviously they were just out for a joy ride, a fun day with grandma. She looked thrilled to be getting to experience this “first” moment with her Granddaughter and confirmed to me that is was her first train ride.
As I got up to get off at my stop the little girl squealed again and only momentarily looked sad as she saw I was leaving, I said, “my stop, have fun,” and she waved and went back to enjoying the fun ,exclaiming, “only 4 more stops,” repeating what Grandma said.
Thank you little girl for brightening my already bright day, since it’s my half day at work and the weather is perfect.
I have just discovered my new guilty pleasure to make me laugh. Some brilliant person has created this site where he’s downloaded all the music sung on various television shows, like my favorite show The Office and you can download them to iTunes, share them or even turn them into ring tones!! It’s crazy, and yes I’m silly enough to love this. I haven’t turned any of my favorite Andy songs into ring tones yet, but….it could happen.
For your hearing pleasure: (for all those who don’t watch, you won’t get it, and that’s fine.)
Here’s the link you can find this and many more cool tunes at:

Here’s some funnies to celebrate the fact that it’s Friday! I sense a theme among these, swine anyone?

OH boy here we go again. So last night was the obligatory 100 day Obama news conference and as expected our wonderful unbiased “Media” was out in full force to ask the hard hitting questions:
Good grief! You silly reporter you should be embarrassed for yourself! I actually think even Obama was probably thinking, “dude really?!”
The night of fawning and slobbering and just plain mouth-gaping awe went on all night. Not anything new really.
The following is a dramatization/parody that might as well be true:
Obama: “Uh uh umm yes ‘MSNBC reporter’
you may speak.”
Reporter: “Hello and thank you Mr. President, thank you, I uh, just thank you so much for being here and allowing us to be in your presence, oh my geez, gosh, Mr. President you are so great, uh enchanted, uh…may I kiss your feet?”
Who said journalism in America today was dead, that’s just silly crazy talk.
And here’s a segment on FOX trying to spin this into, well I don’t really know what they were trying to spin this into. I guess they are saying politics have gone soft and all metro sexual which results in questions like this. Politics and the media have gone something, but I don’t know if you can blame it on metro sexualism, ha!
Dumb asses of the week goes to everyone involved in allowing the Air Force One plane (Obama was not aboard obviously) to fly too low in NY this week as part of some ridiculous photo opportunity. This fly by caused an ensuing panic for New York people as many feared another attack was happening.
So New Yorkers were panicked and rightly so in my opinion! Some even evacuated hi-rise buildings in the area. It’s just common sense that planes can’t fly too low in these big cities, and even more so in New York. Because it will always be a sensitive situation, people don’t forget, and they shouldn’t.
Apparently though some NYPD and Washington staffers forgot these simple facts, and they also forgot to notify the proper people, including the Mayor! Obama is claiming to know nothing about it before hand…. riiiight. It’s only his plane and everything.
Stupid, stupid people, what were you thinking. This gets dumb ass of the week for such idiocy.
Here’s one report on the incident:
That’s what I’m talking about! Even though O’Reilly can drive me crazy sometimes, I have to give him a big Thank You for this segment.
