OH boy here we go again. So last night was the obligatory 100 day Obama news conference and as expected our wonderful unbiased “Media” was out in full force to ask the hard hitting questions:

Good grief! You silly reporter you should be embarrassed for yourself! I actually think even Obama was probably thinking, “dude really?!”

The night of fawning and slobbering and just plain mouth-gaping awe went on all night. Not anything new really.

The following is a dramatization/parody that might as well be true:

Obama: “Uh uh umm yes ‘MSNBC reporter’
you may speak.”

Reporter: “Hello and thank you Mr. President, thank you, I uh, just thank you so much for being here and allowing us to be in your presence, oh my geez, gosh, Mr. President you are so great, uh enchanted, uh…may I kiss your feet?”

Who said journalism in America today was dead, that’s just silly crazy talk.

And here’s a segment on FOX trying to spin this into, well I don’t really know what they were trying to spin this into. I guess they are saying politics have gone soft and all metro sexual which results in questions like this. Politics and the media have gone something, but I don’t know if you can blame it on metro sexualism, ha!

Dumb asses of the week goes to everyone involved in allowing the Air Force One plane (Obama was not aboard obviously) to fly too low in NY this week as part of some ridiculous photo opportunity. This fly by caused an ensuing panic for New York people as many feared another attack was happening.

So New Yorkers were panicked and rightly so in my opinion! Some even evacuated hi-rise buildings in the area. It’s just common sense that planes can’t fly too low in these big cities, and even more so in New York. Because it will always be a sensitive situation, people don’t forget, and they shouldn’t.

Apparently though some NYPD and Washington staffers forgot these simple facts, and they also forgot to notify the proper people, including the Mayor! Obama is claiming to know nothing about it before hand…. riiiight. It’s only his plane and everything.

Stupid, stupid people, what were you thinking. This gets dumb ass of the week for such idiocy.

OK, I’ve had ENOUGH of Meghan McCain…she needs to either go away now, or just become a liberal like she’s destined to do! Seriously, this girl prancing around talking about “remaking” the republican party or finding a “new face,” she’s just out of control. Meghan please go away… you no idea what you’re talking about and the only reason all these left liberal media groups and talk shows are letting you on is because you’re talking/acting/sounding more anti conservative and republican than pro, which they love! I mean if this girl was talking up the conservative movement and party in a positive way rather than bashing all of those who are true conservatives, she wouldn’t be getting their “faux” respect. I say “faux” respect because the second she does/says something they don’t like they will be all over her ass, attacking and spewing the vitriol. Don’t play with fire Meghan, you just might get attacked from both sides soon enough. Oh and stop sucking up to the Libs, I think you’re Dad can tell you what happens once they turn on you…

So guess what Meghan, you don’t have a place here in the republican party…we aren’t going anywhere and you have no idea what it means to be a conservative, stop trying to change us into a moderate party! I’m open to new ideas, making us more modern in how we communicate, getting some young blood, but that does NOT mean changing what we stand for and believe in.

Perez Hilton! He gets this award for asking a question to a Miss America contestant, and then hating her answer (he’s allowed). But he doesn’t just hate it, he basically whines and disparages her to various press later because of her answer. Whether her answer cost her the crown is not known, and if that is what cost it…well that’s a whole other conversation. But here’s what I don’t get:

1) WHY is Perez Hilton judging in this contest anyway? Seriously he’s an entertainment slam blogger (as I like to call him). He reports all the nastiness going on in Hollywood. So why is he judging this again? And the fact that Perez is gay wouldn’t really matter except that, is he really being impartial here then?

After her response she went on to obtain the runner up position.

It’s so ridiculous, why does this contestant have to be all politically correct, basically checking her feelings and beliefs at the door to answer this question? She was nice, she was clear, she wasn’t malicious in any way. She stood up for what she believes in without sugar coating and placating to people. I personally applaud her for being honest and true to herself. I love how Perez says she “alienated millions of people,” really! I think there are just as man millions that agree with her. I personally don’t have any specific yes or no to this answer, and I don’t want to get into that now. What aggravates me the most is that she’s being ridiculed by many for sticking to what her faith taught her, and it may very well have cost her the crown. Also what was that nonsense Perez was spouting about the president’s role versus Miss America’s role… yeeesh, whaaat!?

Would it have been better if she answered like some dumb twit saying, “Um yeah like I want everyone to love everyone and everybody to marry anyone or everyone…and like, yeah that would be great if we could all just get along, have peace and live in harmony.” Gah! Come on, that’s so often the nonsensical response you get from these contestants or they sound totally staged and meaningless. I didn’t see that here, she spoke from her heart. What’s so wrong with that?

So I say, hey Perez, go back to your slam blogging of Hollywood, at least they usually deserve it!

I have to preface this post by saying I am NOT  a fan of Bill Maher, never have been, never will be. But I’m finding it so typical and ridiculous that even comedians who are known for taking digs at every president (some more than others…cough Bush cough) aren’t even allowed to go there with Obama. Why is HE so saintly and perfect that he is above all judgment, ridicule and even light-hearted jokes? God forbid you try to really nail him with a joke that hits at the core of the truth. Now even the leftest comedians can’t even try to dig in. In a comedy world, no one is above being made fun of, that’s how it’s always been no matter how much we all do or don’t like it. But not anymore apparently.

OK, so here we are with another example of poor choices by the media in how they covered the recent tea parties.
What in the world makes any news host think that Janeane Garofalo is some kind of “expert” on the matter. From what I’ve seen she’s been known for making racy remarks and for being a hard core liberal, so why would any respectable news outlet (haha, I know oxymoron here dealing with this outlet in question) have someone on, allow them to make such disrespectful remarks that basically denigrate an entire group of Americans, then say nothing to stand up to it. I mean Keith Olbermann all but agrees with her, he might as well have stood up and applauded her!

How dare anyone call these people racists. Racism has nothing to do with this. If this was a white president the left would of course just find another reason that these groups of conservatives, republicans, and some democrats I might add! were getting together to assemble or protest anything, because we are always wrong right!? It doesn’t matter that they were trying to stand up for something they believed in, or that they were speaking out about protecting what our country was founded on, on keeping government small, on lowering our taxes, on controlling the spending, no none of that matters, because to them they (us) are all just a bunch of racist “tea bagging rednecks.” There’s certainly no generalizing or predjudice in her remarks, no none at all!

Check out the aformentioned video below, I suggest avoiding the comment section on the video, there’s equally ignorant people there.

Now if a republican/conservative actor or actress went on some news show regarding a protest and said that those people were just a bunch of crazy “n**gers” or dirty “wet b**cks” well there would be an uproar! and rightly so, because it’s wrong.

But not when a liberal actor/actress does it, and not when it’s referencing the constantly bashed south or “red necks” as they call them, not when it’s about a cause that relates to conservatism, or faith or religion, or any ideal they don’t agree with.

What more can I say, it’s getting worse and I expect it will only continue to be that way.

Maybe I’m just crazy, or maybe the media is wrong, or maybe the truth is that the media was trying to meet a quota as to how many times they or a guest could say “tea bagging” in one week. Yeah, that’s probably it.

I’ve been in love with the band Sigur Ros for many years now, but this song that’s been getting some attention lately because it’s featured in the new Disney Earth previews, is truly something magical. It was literally made to be in a movie, it just has that powerful, wrap you up in a moment and make you feel like you’re on top of the world feeling…I love it…Not to mention the video is so strangely adorable, odd and uplifting all at the same time. This song never fails to bring a smile to my face no matter what’s happening at that moment. Check it out:
