So I’d heard something about this insane idea of NY’s Bloomberg allowing the proposal to build a Islamic mosque practically on the 911 Ground Zero site but I thought, no way, there’s NO way they’d actually do that. How could they possibly allow a symbol of the VERY thing that these hideous terrorists that attacked us believed in and worshiped at anywhere near that site!
And I don’t care if they say its in some community center on the site, it’s still ON THE SITE!
I already believe the overly sensitive sensibilities we’re all supposed to follow regarding anything Muslim or anything Islamic is already above and beyond. Especially since Christians are persecuted every day for their beliefs!!! in the media and the like! And no one says anything. And call me a racist for saying that I don’t care! Bring it.
But to find out they are actually VERY close to allowing this mosque to be built is absolutely revolting, disgusting, ridiculous and every other negative connotation I can muster up into a sentence insert here! And of course its all about the money and these people commissioning for this know that, these greedy, disgusting politicians go where the money’s at, who cares about America, who cares about those who died that day, who cares about the families and friends who still mourn and will forever mourn! What’s all that if a little more green gets in your pocket Mr. Bloomberg. But of course.

As one sign at the rally stated:
“Sensitivity goes both ways, if you really care build it elsewhere!”
Exactly.

So just as disgusting as the idea itself, the fact that NO MAJOR network news outlet covered the protest that took place June 6, 2010. Thousands of people gathered at Ground Zero and only citizen journalists, some talk radio, and bloggers covered and discussed this. How is this possible people!? I ask, how many of you out there knew about this proposal to build a mosque and how many of you were aware it was being protested by thousands of the VERY people that lost loved ones that day? Do you care? If so than ask yourself how we can live in a country that blatantly censored this from the airwaves?

I just did some research and found that only a few articles were written after the fact about the rally, CNN did one that I’ve found so far, some various NY newspapers wrote up a piece. I’ve been searching and have yet to find any coverage by Fox news about the rally, that’s double shocking, they’ve discussed the proposal of the mosque, but not the protest? Apparently some of the Fox talk shows like Hannity and O’Reilly covered it on the air but not everyone has cable people.
Where are all the news networks? Why wasn’t this protest worthy of the news? They have no problem making fun of people who showed up to Tea Party rallies after the fact, but no one can show the thousands of people who gathered to show their support against this ridiculous idea?
CBN (Christian Broadcasting Network) is the only one I’ve found that was all over it and even talked about the protest that WAS GOING to happen, but they aren’t even close to being network news.
This whole thing, which was alerted to me via email and blogs, makes me sick to my stomach, I don’t know whether to cry or want to punch Bloomberg and those thinking this is a good idea in the face. How about I do both!
Take a look at some images in the video link below and various links discussing the subject. How can we allow this? Isn’t building a mosque on this sacred site going too far? Enough with the bullshit political correctness already, this is AMERICA, radical Islam attacked US, why should we build a symbol of their twisted FAITH on our soil, let alone on 911 SOIL!?

Always REMEMBER!

OK Chicago Tribune … really??! This was posted on chicagotribune.com tonight with a series of fist bump photos to follow….(sigh). There are no words:
The bump heard ’round the world
It’s been a year since then-candidate gave wife Michelle a hug, kiss and a playful jab on the band before taking the stage in St. Paul, Minnesota. Fans of the fist bump have informally declared June 3 “National Fist Bump Day and have invented a website to support it — nationalfistbumpday.com.
Go to this link to see the said photos: http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/politics/obama/chi-090603-obama-fist-bump-pictures,0,4733887.photogallery
Who are these people that have created this website and the unofficial holiday?!… come on! Everyone sing along… “Give us the whole razzle dazzle….razzle dazzle them…”
That’s what I’m talking about! Even though O’Reilly can drive me crazy sometimes, I have to give him a big Thank You for this segment.
More on this topic here in link below!:
OK, so here we are with another example of poor choices by the media in how they covered the recent tea parties.
What in the world makes any news host think that Janeane Garofalo is some kind of “expert” on the matter. From what I’ve seen she’s been known for making racy remarks and for being a hard core liberal, so why would any respectable news outlet (haha, I know oxymoron here dealing with this outlet in question) have someone on, allow them to make such disrespectful remarks that basically denigrate an entire group of Americans, then say nothing to stand up to it. I mean Keith Olbermann all but agrees with her, he might as well have stood up and applauded her!
How dare anyone call these people racists. Racism has nothing to do with this. If this was a white president the left would of course just find another reason that these groups of conservatives, republicans, and some democrats I might add! were getting together to assemble or protest anything, because we are always wrong right!? It doesn’t matter that they were trying to stand up for something they believed in, or that they were speaking out about protecting what our country was founded on, on keeping government small, on lowering our taxes, on controlling the spending, no none of that matters, because to them they (us) are all just a bunch of racist “tea bagging rednecks.” There’s certainly no generalizing or predjudice in her remarks, no none at all!
Check out the aformentioned video below, I suggest avoiding the comment section on the video, there’s equally ignorant people there.
Now if a republican/conservative actor or actress went on some news show regarding a protest and said that those people were just a bunch of crazy “n**gers” or dirty “wet b**cks” well there would be an uproar! and rightly so, because it’s wrong.
But not when a liberal actor/actress does it, and not when it’s referencing the constantly bashed south or “red necks” as they call them, not when it’s about a cause that relates to conservatism, or faith or religion, or any ideal they don’t agree with.
What more can I say, it’s getting worse and I expect it will only continue to be that way.
Maybe I’m just crazy, or maybe the media is wrong, or maybe the truth is that the media was trying to meet a quota as to how many times they or a guest could say “tea bagging” in one week. Yeah, that’s probably it.
(Original post 4/16/09)
Yesterday was tax day “Tea time” Tea Party central all across America, as many true Americans came out in droves to protest higher taxes, big spending and the ever expanding big government. As expected many media outlets chose to either not mention it, just briefly cover it, or even worse down right make fun of and discredit what was going on. The wonderfully “non-biased” media spent plenty of time interjecting their disgusting sexual innuendos throughout their commentary, a disgraceful and shameful attempt to trivialize an important grassroots movement on a an important topic. Here’s one article on the matter here:
www.foxnews.com/politics/2009/04/16/cable-anchors-guests-use-tea-parties-platform-frat-house-humor/
And other outlets, like CNN chose to allow their reporters to just throw all professionalism out the window, like this reporter right here in my city of Chicago:
How this reporter could think she was just simply covering this story in an unbiased manner or even being remotely fair is absurd! I mean boldy claiming that FoxNews was promoting these grass roots events that have been popping up everywhere? Get your facts straight infobabe…. just because Fox chose to cover it (and simply just report on it like you are supposed to do) doesn’t mean they are the ones who started it all! Americans started it, because they have something to say, because they believe in something, because they want to get the word out. We live in America and the last time I checked people can peacefully assemble and protest on all matters of topics. I’m going to go out on a limb and say that if this was just another pro-abortion or pro gay-marriage rally the reporter wouldn’t have been so utterly rude and unprofessional. No matter what is being protested as a reporter you can’t blatantly show bias toward the opposite end of the issue at hand, that’s just not how it works! I’m currently searching for some video examples of the also equally ridiculous sexual innuendo comments made during several newscasts, yes… newscasts.
Disgusting media behavior…as usual.
On a good note, congrats to all those that came out and made their voices heard!!!! I wish I could have been there.
